Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and valued. At CASA of Solano County, we stand up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the foster care system. Our mission is simple but powerful: To recruit, train, and support community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in foster care, ensuring they are seen, heard, and not alone.
When a child enters foster care, they’re often met with instability—frequent moves, new faces, and uncertainty about what comes next. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers change that. They build a consistent, one-on-one relationship with a child, getting to know their unique needs and standing by their side through every part of their journey.
Our volunteers speak up in court, collaborate with teachers, social workers, and caregivers, and help ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. They are not caseworkers or attorneys, they’re everyday people who choose to show up and be a voice for the voiceless.
